Hi,

Although I am always in favour of fighting divisions, inequality and racism, do you not think the festival is being brought into disrepute by its associations?

The worrying involvement of extremist organisations, such as the UAF should give cause for concern.

The UAF are supported politically and encourage to partake in political persecution, under the guise of fighting "fascism". Yet by their very actions of political persecution, violence, and intimidation, they themselves appear to be more akin to fascist then anyone they oppose.

In my town I see no racism. Everyone is equal. Jobs are given on merit and everyone lives together in peace. An ideal situation.

What really concerns me is the establishments attempts to divide us by classifying us on grounds of ethnic origin, colour and religion. By giving more rights to ethnic minorities (such as Harman’s idea to make it legal to discriminate against white males in favour of minorities or women).

Personally I detest any form of discrimination, and wish to live in a free and fair society. On the surface, "I love music, hate racism" seem like a great idea. However when you look at the supporters, and those behind this it raises many questions indeed.

It is a shame what could be a force for good has been hijacked by some of the most undesirable forces in this country. Churchill did warn us that when fascism returns, it will be in the form of the anti fascists. People should take heed of this warning and act as their conscience dictates.

I for one will be taking no part, will be donating nothing, and will not think highly of anyone involved in this event. I do hope not too much damage is caused to the well intentioned people attending. Love music, hate racism, hate Marxist political persecution.
