Pledge “chocolateukraine”

"I will send a box of chocolate to women and children suffering from domestic violence in Ukraine but only if 20 other people will do the same."

— Sara Hall, member of Amnesty International (contact)

Deadline to sign up by: 31st January 2008
24 people signed up (4 over target)

More details
I will send a box of chocolate and write a message of solidarity to a women’s organization in Ukraine.

They will then pass on the messages and the chocolate to women and children suffering from domestic violence.

We had a similar action for women in Belarus last year and this was extremely successful and much appreciated. Here's what one Belarusian NGO had to say about the chocolate chain: “This solidarity means a lot and for us, it means networking in action, without loud resolutions and public statements!”

Please start the year 2008 by joining me and other members of Amnesty and give solidarity to women and children, who need it.
