Please purchase a set of textbooks today so we can help the orphans and vulnerable children in the slums of Nairobi achieve a quality education.
Galilee Primary School is located in the Kayole-Soweto slums of Nairobi, Kenya. Over 1100 students attend the school. Many of these children are orphans, all live in extremely needy circumstances. Our mission is to create opportunities for children living in the slums of Nairobi to receive an education and improve their quality of life. We accomplish this through:
1. Child Sponsorship
2. Special Projects to improve the educational environment and infrastructure of the schools
3. Addressing the needs of improved health and nutrition to enhance the learning potential of students
4. Providing adequate funding to support a stable and qualified teaching staff
Our efforts are supported by Kenya Kids in Need, a 501(c)(3) organization, established as a USA nonprofit devoted to Galilee Primary School, Waddington High School, and Holly House children's home. US donations are tax deductible.
We are all volunteers, working at a grassroots level. We'd like to invite you to join us by becoming a Friend of Galilee.
